Job Description
Liberty Healthcare Management is currently seeking a passionate LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) to join our team at Liberty Commons of Lee County. This part-time, night position involves assisting in the direction of nursing services, observing patients for symptoms, and implementing changes in orders as needed. If you have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing and are dedicated to providing quality care, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall under RN supervision.
- Delegate duties and monitor work performance of nursing personnel.
- Observe patients for symptoms and adverse reactions.
- Notify physicians of emergencies and patient conditions.
- Implement changes in orders as instructed by physicians.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Licensed Practical Nurse from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current, valid NC Board of Nursing license with proof of renewal.
- Willing to work as charge nurses and during emergencies.
- CPR certified annually.
- Attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.
