Job Description
The International State Bank of Raton is looking for a dedicated Loan Workout Specialist to manage distressed loans and guide clients through financial challenges. This role involves analyzing borrower's financial situations, developing strategies to mitigate risks, and negotiating loan modifications or settlements. As part of a collaborative team, you will ensure compliance with regulations and work towards maximizing recovery for the bank.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate borrowers' financial conditions and propose suitable workout solutions.
- Implement strategies to address loan defaults and non-performing assets.
- Negotiate with stakeholders to reach agreements on modifications and settlements.
- Work closely with internal departments to execute effective workout plans.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial banking or credit analysis.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software applications.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and risk assessment methodologies.
