Job Description
We are hiring a Local CDL Driver – Crane Operator with NCCCO or CIC Certification to join Beacon Building Products, a leading Fortune 500 distributor of roofing materials and building products. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and timely delivery of materials using your expertise in operating crane equipment.
What You Will Do
- Handle touch freight and ensure accurate loading and unloading of materials.
- Set up job parameters, inspect sites, and utilize crane equipment for unloading operations.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and communicate effectively with dispatch for on-time deliveries.
- Report any safety hazards to management for prompt resolution.
What You Will Bring
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
- Valid Class A/B CDL license with 12 months of commercial driving experience.
- Experience with knuckle boom crane trucks and heavy equipment operation.
- Strong knowledge of crane operations, rigging techniques, and safety regulations.
- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and collaborate effectively in a team setting.
