Logistics Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Logistics Specialist to join The Town Dock's Supply Chain Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of domestic logistics movement, distribution, and storage transactions. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of orders to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer-facing domestic logistics process, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Collaborate with external vendors, complete necessary paperwork, and provide required documentation for deliveries.
• Conduct data collection, entry, and reporting using Excel and SharePoint.
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, carriers, and vendors to optimize logistics operations.
• Maintain accurate freight costs, track shipping errors, and process necessary documentation.
• Support international logistics activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and report on departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Utilize ERP systems and other tools effectively to manage logistics processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the logistics function.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in domestic logistics.
• Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills and customer service mindset.
• Ability to collaborate, problem-solve, and drive process improvements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and willingness to learn ERP systems.
• High attention to detail and commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Compensation

Hourly wage: $26-$28
