We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Long Term Special Education Substitute Paraprofessional to join Copilot Careers at Hartford Public Schools. As a Substitute Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational journey of students with special needs. Your responsibilities will include providing instructional support, assisting with classroom management, supervising students, and contributing to a nurturing academic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum associate degree or High School Diploma with Paraprofessional Certificate.
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional reinforcement for individual students or small groups.
• Assist teachers with classroom management and supervision.
• Support students with special needs according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 Plans.
• Attend to students' diverse needs, both academic and personal.
• Collaborate with teachers and school administration to create a conducive learning environment.
