LPN ( Licensed Practical Nurse) - Full Time (No Nights, No Weekends)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Valley Counseling Services, a program of Family & Community Services, Inc. This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week, primarily Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required for evening shifts based on agency needs.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication under the supervision of the Medical Director and agency physicians.
• Provide emergency care and first aid services when needed.
• Observe and report on client behavior and response to medication.
• Attend meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on procedures and policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation according to regulations and agency standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure coordinated client care.

Qualifications

• Skill in administering medications and gathering health information.
• Ability to communicate effectively and establish rapport with clients.
• Training in First Aid, CPR, and crisis intervention techniques.
• Valid Ohio Practical Nurse license and medication administration training.
• Reliable transportation and clear background check.

Minimum Requirements

• Practical nursing degree from an accredited institution.
• Prior experience in mental health nursing preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks as necessary.

Compensation

Hourly wage: $21-21
