Job Description

We are seeking an Experienced Manufacturing/Production Maintenance Technician to join Avtec Finishing, a recognized leader in the Metal Finishing Industry. This full-time position involves performing preventive and routine maintenance tasks on various equipment and systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry work. The ideal candidate should have trade school training or equivalent experience, good mechanical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various malfunctions. Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and routine maintenance tasks on manufacturing/production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues.
  • Read blueprints, diagrams, and assembly drawings to perform tasks accurately.
  • Work independently and safely complete repairs with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Trade school training or 2 years of equivalent experience.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic welding skills with wire feed, gig, stick, and torch equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work on multiple tasks efficiently.

Compensation

  • Wage Range: $26-$32+/hour based on experience and training.
  • Signing Bonus: $1,500.00 (not available for current employees).
  • 1st Shift hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm, Monday-Friday.
