Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a Generalist Maintenance Technician to join our team at Mayroad. As a key member of our maintenance staff, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential properties and community amenities. This role involves handling a variety of tasks such as structural repairs, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC maintenance, and more. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, safety-minded, and capable of providing exceptional customer service to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on residential properties and community amenities.
• Respond to emergency, urgent, and routine work orders promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents.
• Conduct inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met.
• Utilize Mobile Work Order app for managing tasks efficiently.
• Repair plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, and HVAC systems.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and building appearance.
• Identify and address safety hazards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in general residential maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Work Environment

This position involves working in residential environments, which may include exposure to various hazards such as extreme temperatures, noise, and hazardous materials. Physical requirements include lifting, climbing, and handling tools and equipment.
