Job Description

Join our team at Gastroenterology Associates of the Piedmont as the Manager of Finance & Ancillary Services. In this role, you will collaborate with the CEO and practice leadership to oversee financial performance and monitoring of ancillary services, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial goals and standards aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Serve as a liaison for financial matters between various stakeholders.
  • Oversee production of financial reports and lead financial analysis for strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor daily financial activities, generate key performance indicators, and report results to executive leadership.
  • Direct accounting, budgeting, and audit controls to minimize risk and identify cost-effective solutions.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational, time management, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet, accounting software programs, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with Crystal reports and SQL queries preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Ten years or more of related experience required, with health care experience strongly preferred.
  • CMPE or FACMPE certification preferred; Medical Financial Experience helpful.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times and travel as needed.
