Job Description

The Manager of Program Strategy and Initiatives at Community Behavioral Health will provide comprehensive support to the Chief Program Officer in promoting strategic priorities and long-term goals. This role involves proactively driving day-to-day operational tasks, collaborating closely with the Senior Director of Provider Operations, and facilitating smooth business operations. The Manager of Program Strategy and Initiatives will contribute to ensuring the highest standards and efficiency for the day-to-day operations while managing the CPO’s workflow and priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Support strategic direction and leadership for day-to-day operations.
  • Manage the CPO’s workflow and priorities by anticipating essential next steps.
  • Ensure critical, high-priority CPO work assignments are successfully completed in a high-quality, time-sensitive manner.
  • Oversee duties related to time management, information flow, communication, and decision-making processes.
  • Problem-solve at a high level and anticipate departmental needs.
  • Facilitate agendas and meetings, conduct necessary follow-up, and contribute to discussions around operational decisions.
  • Manage internal and external special projects in coordination with other departments.
  • Develop and implement strategies and feedback loops for increasing communication across the Provider Operations and organization.

Requirements

  • Education: Master’s degree in business, Public Health, Healthcare, or Public Administration, or Social Services related field.
  • Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience with progressively responsible work experience.
  • Understanding of HealthChoices Program Standards and Requirements and other regulatory guidelines.
  • Skills: Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills; project management experience; superior research, analytical, planning, organizational skills, and detail-orientation.
