Manufacturing Engineer Lead

Job Description

U.S. Tsubaki Power Transmission, LLC, a leading manufacturer and supplier of power transmission and motion control products, is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer Lead to join their team. The Manufacturing Engineer Site Lead will manage projects and provide direction to other Manufacturing Engineers to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved. Responsibilities include overseeing budget controls, tooling design and implementation to support production output.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects and provide direction to other Manufacturing Engineers to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Promote teamwork, respect, and a culture of continuous improvement in all manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and on-time delivery to customers.
• Assess manufacturing processes for cost-effectiveness and efficiency improvements.
• Lead and mentor teams to achieve production results and implement lean manufacturing concepts.
• Design tools and dies, develop automation systems, and perform analysis of manufacturing processes.
• Write equipment specifications, manage tool installation and commissioning, and participate in quality and safety audits.

Requirements

• Masters Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
• Eight plus years of related experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, ISO, and CAD.
• Strong analytical, communication, and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, print interpretation, and engineering principles.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
