Job Description

Marine Hydraulics International, LLC is seeking a Maritime Scheduler to prepare detailed production schedules for ship repair projects. The Scheduler will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, update schedules based on progress and changes, and provide status reports. This position plays a vital role in ensuring efficient project planning and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Establish logical Work Breakdown Structures based on standard Work Items and reference drawings.
  • Integrate work from Program Managers, Project Team, trades, Subcontractors, and Government entities into a single Integrated Production Schedule.
  • Resource load production schedules using Work Item estimates.
  • Update schedules to reflect contract changes and project progress.
  • Analyze data for errors, recommend resolutions, and prepare status reports.
  • Participate in project meetings and assist in analyzing project impacts and work requirements.
  • Perform additional assignments as directed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Two years of project planning experience or completion of Scheduler-In-Training requirements at MHI.
  • Prior experience in shipyard, industrial, or construction industry preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.

Working Conditions

This on-site position entails working in an office environment with occasional exposure to outdoor conditions. The role requires sitting for extended periods, occasional lifting, and motor coordination skills.
