Job Description

Slumberland Furniture is currently seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers with experience in Forklift Operations to join our team immediately. As part of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of merchandise, ensuring accurate inventory management and exceptional customer service.

Primary Objective & Scope of Position

This position involves storing, moving, and distributing products within the warehouse. You will also provide some training to other employees and lead by example.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities

• Manage merchandise movement for optimal space efficiency.
• Handle inbound and outbound merchandise to meet delivery and storage requirements.
• Utilize POS system for inventory management.
• Ensure accuracy in customer orders and system records.
• Conduct product inspections and maintain inventory integrity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (or currently pursuing).
• Basic math skills and knowledge of tools and hardware assembly.
• Valid driver's license and basic computer proficiency.
• Experience with POS systems is desirable.
