Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist 2 to join our team at Marion County Health & Human Services (MCHHS). In this role, you will be responsible for providing behavioral health services to individuals diagnosed with co-occurring serious mental health disorders and major neurocognitive disorders.
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat individuals and families, including crisis intervention services.
- Develop and implement Comprehensive Mental Health Assessments and Individualized Service Plans.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders for referrals and admissions.
- Facilitate therapy sessions, case management, and group therapy as needed.
- Provide crisis stabilization and discharge planning.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- At least one year of post-Master's degree experience in behavioral health for Mental Health Therapist 2.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as LCSW, CSWA, or QMHP.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
