Nurse Practitioner - APRN (Mid-Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner - APRN (Mid-Level) to join our team at Cibola General Hospital. As a mid-level provider, you will be responsible for providing accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, consultation, education, and follow-up care to patients of all ages, under the guidance of the Supervisory Physician. In addition to patient care, you will ensure proper record maintenance and handle other assigned duties.

Primary Functions

• Examine patients and record medical history.
• Collaborate with Physicians and healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Order tests or images as necessary and interpret results for patients.
• Administer treatments, prescribe medications, and provide health education.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists for specialized care.
• Perform minor medical procedures and report public health concerns.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Current State of New Mexico license in good standing.
• National Board Certification.
• Current DEA licensure.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records systems preferred.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred).
