Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Open Heart OR Nurse to join our team at ThedaCare. As an OR nurse, you will play a critical role in caring for patients undergoing life-changing surgeries in a fast-paced and technologically advanced environment.
Responsibilities
- Work 8-hour shifts with variable start times and on-call rotation.
- Advocate for patients in a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
- Deliver specialized, evidence-based nursing care across the continuum.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure compassionate and safe care.
Qualifications
- Current Wisconsin RN Licensure.
- BSN or ADN with agreement for BSN within five years.
- AHA BLS certification.
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform patient care procedures.
- Exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
Location
ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton, Wisconsin.
