Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Operations Assistant to join the Truck and Trailer Specialties team. As the Operations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily functions of the Howell Shop, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service. This position is ideal for someone with exceptional administrative skills, a team player attitude, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers and vendors in person, by phone, and via email.
  • Open and track service work orders and audit employee time clock activities.
  • Assist customers with part pick-ups, direct them to the parts department, and schedule deliveries.
  • Handle outgoing and incoming packages, invoice customers daily, and accept payments.
  • Confirm and track purchase orders, answer and direct incoming calls, and perform filing tasks.
  • Maintain and tidy office areas, provide operational support to shop manager and team leads. Place purchase orders and order and maintain office supplies.
