Operator 1, Forming - 2nd and 3rd Shift

Job Description

MacLean-Fogg is hiring an Operator 1, Forming for 2nd and 3rd Shift, based in Saegertown, PA. This role involves operating assigned mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment, ensuring that items produced pass quality control requirements, and performing moderately advanced troubleshooting of equipment and adjustments. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience, possess solid working knowledge of subject matter, and have basic verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Run assigned mechanical equipment
• Ensure that items produced pass quality control requirements
• Perform moderately advanced troubleshooting of equipment and perform adjustments
• Read and interpret blueprints if applicable
• Use moderately advanced measuring instruments
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
• Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
• Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Experience operating mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment
• 1 to 3 years of experience
• Basic verbal and written communication skills
• Basic mathematical skills
