Pharmacist

Job Description

Join our team at SCA Pharmaceuticals, LLC as a Pharmacist. We are a rapidly growing company dedicated to providing high-quality customized medications for hospitals and healthcare facilities across the United States. As a Pharmacist, you will oversee daily compounding activities in the cleanroom, supervise compounding technicians, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise compounding, labeling, and daily pharmacy operations.
• Complete accurate logs of controlled substances and compounding records.
• Perform pre-and post-compounding operational checks.
• Ensure compounding is performed in accordance with SOPs and batch record directions.
• Communicate issues to the Pharmacy lead and assist in deviation investigations.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Active Pharmacist License in home state (AR and CT).
• 2+ years of experience in sterile compounding preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to supervise compounding in a clean room environment.

Desired Skills

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to learn gowning procedures.
• Able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 40+ pounds.
• Capable of sitting or standing for extended periods as necessary.
