We are seeking a qualified Preferred Accounts Manager to join our team at Johns Manville Corp, a leading manufacturer and marketer of premium-quality insulation and commercial roofing. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing business development, account management, and go-to-market strategies for key clients within the roofing systems division. This is a significant role that involves working remotely and collaborating closely with various internal teams to drive growth and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish JM as an industry leader and trusted partner for clients.
  • Develop and convert prospect accounts into long-term JM Preferred Account clients.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in existing accounts to increase JM's market share.
  • Support JM sales efforts and enhance client satisfaction by providing superior services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
  • 5-7 years of roofing/construction industry experience.
  • Proven track record in business development and national account sales.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% and physically perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with national/regional commercial building owners and roofing consultants.
  • Skilled in new business development and advanced sales techniques.
  • Expert knowledge of commercial roofing competitor products.
  • Active participation in relevant industry associations.
