Principal Application Architect (Finacle)

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Principal Application Architect with expertise in Finacle to lead and shape our application architecture at Discover Financial Services. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for driving technology strategy and technical capabilities for our application ecosystem, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical requirements. Your role will involve collaborating with product owners, overseeing design processes, coaching other architects, and staying informed about modern technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop product vision and strategy in alignment with technology strategy.
• Lead the design process for applications and coach other architects.
• Deep understanding of business processes and technical building blocks.
• Stay engaged in understanding and researching modern technologies and patterns.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related.
• 8+ years of experience in Software Development, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Finacle.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Openshift.
