Discover Financial Services is looking for a motivated Principal Cybersecurity Engineer (Identity) to join the Identity Security Platform Authentication Services Team. In this role, you will automate, enhance, and optimize cybersecurity technologies critical for Discover's security. This position involves designing secure systems, addressing regulatory requirements, and managing operational risks. The Principal Cybersecurity Engineer will provide leadership, technical expertise, and strategic direction to the team, ensuring the organization's cybersecurity capabilities remain cutting edge.

Responsibilities

• Act as the principal advisor on Cybersecurity matters.
• Design and implement cybersecurity engineering solutions.
• Lead Cybersecurity technology roadmap development and compliance efforts.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Research and integrate new Cybersecurity solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Information Security or related area.
• Proficiency in Cybersecurity technologies and frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Enterprise Single Sign-On, Authentication protocols, and Cyber Security technologies.
• Experience in automation technologies and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot and support various endpoints.
