Principal Product Owner - Talent Management and Learning

Job Description

Discover Financial Services is looking for a dedicated Principal Product Owner to join the HR Technology team. In this role, you will collaborate with Talent Management and Learning business leaders to ensure successful product outcomes, manage change impacts, and deliver viable solutions. This position requires an in-depth understanding of Talent Management, Performance Management, and Learning business functions to drive product success.

Responsibilities

• Lead prioritization of business requests and collaborate with key stakeholders.
• Define key product features, roadmaps, and documentation.
• Ensure alignment with product vision, features, and best practices.
• Create and validate user story acceptance criteria.
• Champion data quality controls and accountability across teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Product, Business, Technical, or related roles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Workday, SumTotal products.
• Project Management experience and Agile methodology expertise.
• Strong experience in business requirements gathering and Change Management support.

Compensation

Base pay between $110,500.00 to $154,900.00 plus incentives based on experience and skill level.
