The Program Coordinator at House of Hope Green Bay, Inc will play a crucial role in supporting community partners to address the needs of youth facing housing instability and homelessness. This position involves planning, implementing, administering, and evaluating direct client services aligned with case plans to offer quality opportunities for youth advancement in parenting, education, employment, and securing stable housing. The Program Coordinator also oversees crisis response interventions for youth, assesses service requirements, and provides various support services including intake, assessment, coordination, outreach, transportation, and community referrals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide intervention and guidance to assigned clients, ensuring effective planning and implementation of direct client services.
  • Support clients in achieving success by fostering effective communication with them, supportive services, case managers, and partner organizations.
  • Maintain facility orderliness and ensure clients are progressing in parenting, education, employment, and housing goals.
  • Perform crisis interventions, facilitate intake processes, and maintain positive relationships with clients, staff, and community members.
  • Teach daily living skills, parenting techniques, and personal growth following program guidelines.
  • Keep records for each client, implement facility routines, and serve as a positive role model for clients.
  • Develop and maintain supportive relationships with clients and their children, including providing care for infants and children.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Development, Child/Youth Development, or related field required.
  • Experience in providing direct services to individuals facing homelessness.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, multicultural sensitivity, and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Valid Wisconsin driver's license and clean criminal background check.
  • Physically and mentally capable of providing care for residents and children independently.

Physical and Mental Demands: The role requires physical capabilities such as standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, eye-hand coordination, as well as mental acuity for problem-solving, decision-making, and effective communication.
