Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Property Manager to join our team at SHP Management Corp. As the Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all property functions, managing tenant communications, conducting certifications, and preparing for inspections. This role reports directly to the Senior Property Manager in your region. In addition to a competitive salary, we are offering a $2,000 sign-on bonus!
Responsibilities
- Manage tenant evictions in accordance with company policies.
- Prepare properties for compliance audits and inspections.
- Handle rent collection and address delinquencies promptly.
- Coordinate with contractors for property maintenance.
- Submit necessary reports to HUD and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Conduct certifications and inspections as per HUD regulations.
- Address tenant concerns and organize tenant meetings as needed.
- Assist in budget preparation and oversee property upkeep.
- Supervise administrative and maintenance staff hiring and training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of Project-based Section 8 or tax credit experience.
- COS, AHM, or ARM designation desired.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
- Strong teamwork, accountability, and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work consistently.
Physical Requirements
Various physical activities may be required including lifting, walking, sitting, handling, reaching, bending, squatting, and climbing based on property needs.
