Job Description
Helen Ross McNabb Center is looking for Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our team and play a crucial role in providing quality care to our diverse client population across various settings within East Tennessee.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with clients in our clinics or in the community to provide outstanding nursing care.
- Assess patients, administer medications, and implement individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and holistic client care.
- Participate in crisis intervention and stabilization services as needed.
Requirements
- Current RN or LPN license in Tennessee.
- Strong knowledge of psychiatric/mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.
- CPR certification or willingness to become certified.
- Experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and dual-diagnosis disorders preferred.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
- Physical ability to handle the demands of the role, including exposure to biological hazards and adeptness at multi-tasking.
