Job Description
Liberty Healthcare Management is currently looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a per diem position. As an RN, you will be responsible for ensuring quality nursing care for patients, administering medications, supervising support staff, and collaborating with physicians.
Responsibilities
- Assure quality nursing care by following physician's orders, state and federal regulations, and facility policies.
- Administer medications as prescribed and according to facility protocols.
- Lead, guide, and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
- Assist physicians during rounds, examinations, and treatments.
- Perform scheduled treatments, maintain infection control, and adhere to cleanliness regulations.
- Assist with research related to nursing care quality.
- Manage admissions process and maintain patient records accurately.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with current RN license.
- North Carolina Board of Nursing license and CPR certification.
- Ability to provide quality nursing care and work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
- Attend required in-service training and meetings.
- Demonstrate supervisory skills and excellent communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Capable of making sound nursing decisions and ensuring patient safety.
