Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and empathetic Registered Nurse to join the Gentiva Hospice team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care services to hospice patients and supportive care to the patient's family. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary group to enhance the quality of hospice care and ensure the well-being of the patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care services with a reasonable case load.
- Manage an interdisciplinary group to enhance hospice care quality.
- Evaluate patient/family needs and assist with the plan of care.
- Maintain all assigned patient clinical records.
- Participate in quality assessment and improvement programs.
Requirements
- Compassionate, kind, and empathetic towards patients and their families.
- Current RN license or ability to obtain one.
- 1+ years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology.
