Registered Nurse

Job Description

This position as a Registered Nurse at Fort Mill Medical Center provides direct clinical patient care, assuming responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care on a per-shift basis. The role also includes supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated, ensuring high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical patient care.
• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care on a per-shift basis.
• Supervise staff to which appropriate care is delegated.
• Ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.
• Support CNO to ensure competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Requirements

• Graduated from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited school.
• Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; CPR.
• Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelor's or master's degree).
