Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Gentiva Hospice. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care services and support to hospice patients and their families. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care for each patient.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care services and supportive care to hospice patients with a reasonable case load.
- Manage an interdisciplinary group to enhance the quality of hospice care.
- Evaluate patient and family needs and assist in the preparation and execution of the care plan.
- Maintain accurate patient clinical records and participate in quality assessment programs.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of requested employment or eligibility to obtain one.
- 1+ years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology.
- Compassionate, kind, and empathetic to patients and their families.
