Job Description
CareerStaff Unlimited is seeking a full-time Psych Registered Nurse in Centre Hall, PA. The RN will deliver quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients with emotional or psychiatric disorders, serving actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team. Additionally, they will assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs, administer prescribed medications, and provide age and culturally appropriate care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the organization.
- Carry out physician orders and monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Instruct and educate patients and families.
