Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Registered Nurse to join our team at Gentiva Hospice. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care services, manage an interdisciplinary group, evaluate patient needs, and maintain clinical records. You will act as a primary liaison between physicians, patients/families, and the hospice team. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and supportive services to hospice patients and their families.
• Manage an interdisciplinary group to enhance the quality of hospice care.
• Evaluate patient and family needs and assist in developing care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient clinical records.
• Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement programs.

Requirements

• Compassionate, kind, and empathetic towards patients and families.
• Current RN license or the ability to obtain one in the state of employment.
• 1+ years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology.
