Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring adherence to physician's orders and facility protocols. This part-time weekend position (7am - 7pm) offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity in a compassionate environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with facility policies.
- Lead, guide, and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
- Assist physicians during rounds, examinations, and treatments.
- Perform scheduled treatments, maintain infection control measures, and ensure cleanliness standards.
- Assist with research on nursing care quality and assess new admissions.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current, valid RN license in North Carolina.
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in geriatric nursing, maintain CPR certification yearly.
- Ability to make critical nursing decisions, supervise staff effectively, and collaborate with colleagues and other departments.
- Show understanding, patience, and tact in patient, family, and peer interactions.
