Registered Nurse Float (Inpatient)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse Float (Inpatient) to join Denver Health's Nursing Staffing Office. As a Float Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care across various in-patient areas and the Emergency Department, adhering to professional nursing standards and ethics. Your role will involve assessing patient needs, developing care plans, administering treatment, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assess and address health needs of individuals, families, and communities.
• Maintain accurate patient records and report vital signs and changes in condition.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer nursing care, medications, and provide health education to patients and families.
• Promote a positive patient experience and ensure patient comfort and safety.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Active BLS and RN licenses from the American Heart Association and DORA, respectively.
• Strong knowledge of professional nursing practices and patient care procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively, work in a team, and handle emergency situations calmly.

$34.00 - $55.53 per hour
