Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room team at Central Vermont Medical Center. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect professional nursing care to patients, acting as a patient advocate, and offering support to both patients and their families. You will work in alignment with hospital policies, professional standards, physician orders, and approved care plans.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care to assigned patients in adherence to nursing protocols and department procedures.
• Operate within the Vermont Nurse Practice Act, Code of Ethics for Nurses, and hospital guidelines.
• Apply the nursing process to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Valid RN license in the State of Vermont.
• Preferably, a minimum of one year of nursing experience.
• Passion for patient care and willingness to learn and grow in a team environment.
