Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Denver Health. This position involves providing patient care in the fast-paced Medical/Surgical unit (6A), catering to patients with varied medical needs. As a Registered Nurse, you will assess patient needs, implement care plans, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes. This role requires adherence to professional nursing standards, competency in critical thinking, and effective communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs and identify potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition changes.
- Modify treatment plans based on patient responses.
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
- Coordinate with healthcare team for patient care.
- Instruct patients and families on health education and aftercare.
- Administer nursing care and medications.
- Promote positive patient experiences.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
- Valid RN license from the Department of Regulatory Agencies.
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required.
- Strong adherence to professional nursing standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
