Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN)-Float,Nights to join Denver Health's Nursing Staffing Office. As a float nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care by assessing needs and implementing appropriate care plans. This role requires adherence to professional nursing standards, effective collaboration with the healthcare team, and a commitment to patient well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assess individuals, families, and communities for health and safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate patient records and report vital signs and symptoms.
• Develop and modify patient care plans based on responses and conditions.
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care and positive outcomes.
• Administer nursing care, medications, and monitor patient progress.
• Promote health education, disease prevention, and positive patient experiences.

Requirements

• Post High School Diploma or Certificate Program.
• 1-3 years of experience in a direct patient care setting.
• RN-Registered Nurse license from the Department of Regulatory Agencies.
• Proficiency in medical equipment use, patient assessment, and documentations.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and EPIC documentation preferred.
