Join a caring environment at Southport Health and Rehabilitation Center as a Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN). In this role, you will supervise the nursing staff and ensure the best patient care during shifts. Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to oversee Nursing Services in line with regulations and facility policies. This position includes handling acute patient episodes, addressing employee issues promptly, and fulfilling on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff during shifts to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Assist in directing and coordinating Nursing Services.
• Ensure compliance with Nursing Practice Act and facility regulations.
• Manage employee problems efficiently and maintain documentation.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities and perform assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school graduate with a Registered Nurse license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Quality nursing care, CPR certification, and a passion for geriatric nursing.
• Experience in Long Term Care is advantageous.
• Ability to supervise and ensure timely completion of nursing tasks.
• Compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
