Job Description
IVA'AL Solutions, LLC is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Air Force Family Advocacy Nurse (FAN) at Travis AFB. The FAN will be responsible for implementing the New Parent Support Program to prevent child and partner maltreatment by providing comprehensive home-based prevention services.
Responsibilities
- Manage the installation NPSP within the Family Advocacy Program.
- Deliver nursing home visit services covering various areas like growth and development, nutrition, parenting, and family violence dynamics.
- Interact with families expecting or with children aged 0-3 to build rapport and provide support.
Requirements
- Current RN license with a BSN from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 2 years' post BSN experience in maternal/child or community health nursing.
- Home visiting experience and Basic Life Support Certification required.
