Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Sawmill Millwright to join our team at LC Staffing. As a vital member of our workforce, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of equipment and machinery in the sawmill. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in the lumber industry and collaborate with a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain equipment, including motors, chains, and machine parts.
• Build structures using metal and woodworking tools.
• Assist in troubleshooting and solving electrical and hydraulic problems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections on machinery.
• Maintain a clean work area and ensure equipment is turned off at the end of the day.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Three years of experience in equipment repair and fabrication.
• Welding certification and knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and machine shop operations preferred.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
