Screw Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Job Description

MacLean-Fogg is seeking a Screw Machine Operator for the 2nd Shift. The operator will be responsible for setting up and operating mechanical equipment, ensuring that items produced meet quality standards, and performing troubleshooting and adjustments as needed. They must also be able to read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications, use gaging instruments, and maintain cleanliness of the work area. Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures must be followed at all times.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assigned mechanical equipment
• Check that items produced pass quality control requirements
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of equipment and perform adjustments
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications
• Use required gaging instruments
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
• Adhere to 5S standards and maintain cleanliness of the work area

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a Screw Machine Operator
• Ability to interpret work instructions
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate mathematical skills
• EOE-Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran
