Senior Software Development Engineer - AWS Cryptography , C3P

Job Description

We are hiring a Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. As part of the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team, you will collaborate on building secure, open-source encryption tools and libraries to protect sensitive data in the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Own the software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, designing, testing, and implementing new features.
• Operate AWS business with globally distributed servers and customers.
• Deliver foundational libraries using C and Rust to enhance security features.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with leading design or architecture of systems.
• Mentorship or leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of full software development lifecycle knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
