Senior Software Development Engineer - AWS Cryptography , C3P

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to join the Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. AWS Cryptography team. If you are passionate about open source, cryptography, and building secure software solutions at scale, this role is for you. You will collaborate with senior leaders, principal engineers, and security specialists to deliver and support cryptographic tools used globally.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, defining, prioritizing, designing, testing, and implementing new features.
• Operate an AWS business with globally distributed servers and customers.
• Develop foundational libraries using C and Rust for highly secure and reliable services.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Experience with leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Mentorship or team leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Benefits

• Salary range: $134,500 - $261,500/year based on location and experience.
