Job Description
We are seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join the Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc., specifically in the AWS Cryptography team. This full-time position is ideal for individuals passionate about open source and dedicated to ensuring the security of millions of customers' data through scalable cryptography solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, including designing, prioritizing, and implementing new features.
- Operate globally distributed servers and customers to deliver secure encryption libraries using C and Rust.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and security specialists to provide secure cryptographic tools and libraries for internal and external customers worldwide.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in programming with at least one software language.
- Proven track record in leading system design and architecture.
- Previous experience as a mentor or tech lead in engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of coding standards, testing, and operations.
