Job Description
Join the Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. as a Senior Software Development Engineer focusing on AWS Cryptography in the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining secure, open source encryption tools and libraries to protect sensitive data for AWS customers.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, designing, testing, and implementing new features.
- Operate globally distributed servers and customers for AWS services.
- Develop secure and reliable foundational libraries using C and Rust.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in programming with at least one software language.
- Expertise in leading design or architecture of systems.
- Prior experience as a mentor or leading an engineering team.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
