Job Description

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. If you have a passion for practical cryptography, designing secure software solutions, and building innovative encryption tools at scale, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including feature prioritization, design, testing, and implementation of new features for AWS Cryptography.
• Operate globally distributed servers and customers while delivering robust libraries in C and Rust for highly secure AWS services.
• Collaborate with senior leaders, principal engineers, and security specialists to deliver and support cryptographic tools used worldwide.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience in programming with at least one software language and leading design of scalable systems.
• Previous mentorship or team leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of coding standards, source control, and testing practices.
