Job Description
We are seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. If you are passionate about cryptography, open-source tools, and ensuring the security of web services at scale, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of the software development life cycle for AWS Cryptography, including feature definition, design, testing, and implementation.
- Operating globally distributed servers and managing customer interactions to deliver secure services.
- Building secure and reliable foundational libraries using C and Rust.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in programming with at least one software language.
- Proven expertise in leading design and architecture of systems.
- Prior experience in mentoring, leading engineering teams, or as a tech lead.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
