The Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team is seeking an experienced software developer interested in practical cryptography to build user-friendly encryption tools and libraries.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography.
- Develop and deliver foundational libraries using C and Rust for the most secure AWS services.
- Work with senior leaders and security specialists to deliver and support cryptographic tools worldwide.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
- Experience in leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
- Experience as a mentor or leading an engineering team.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
