As a part of the AWS Cryptography team, you will play a crucial role in securing web services and safeguarding millions of customer data by implementing cryptography at scale.
Responsibilities
- Lead the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, ensuring the delivery of secure and reliable cryptographic tools and libraries.
- Operate a globally distributed AWS business, working on foundational libraries using C and Rust.
- Collaborate with senior leaders, principal engineers, and security specialists to provide the security features needed by customers around the world.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in programming with at least one software language.
- Expertise in leading design or architecture of systems.
- Previous experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Knowledge of coding standards, code reviews, testing, and operations.
