Job Description
We are looking for a talented Senior Software Development Engineer specializing in AWS Cryptography to join our team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. Do you have a passion for open source contributions and ensuring data security for millions of customers? Join our Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team to develop secure and user-friendly encryption tools and libraries that enable customers to protect their sensitive data in the cloud.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography.
- Operate globally distributed servers and customers in an AWS business environment.
- Deliver foundational libraries using C and Rust for highly secure AWS services.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with software programming languages and leading system design.
- Strong mentorship and leadership skills in engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the full software development lifecycle and best practices.
